Stowe offers some of the most pristine, comprehensive off-road biking trail systems in the country. And, Stoweflake is in the heart of it all with easy access to miles of trail networks that are ideal for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Just a short pedal away is Cady Hill Forest (known to the locals as Town Loop). Local maps can show you how to connect classic sections of trail with short dirt road rests. APPLE PICKING AND CIDER DEMONSTRATIONS
The orchards in Vermont come alive with fresh apples for the picking turning Cold Hollow Cider Mill into a hot spot for warm Cider Donuts and Hot Apple Cider. Bring the family to catch their pressing men in action and watch cider being made the real, old-time way seven days a week from mid-September to mid-December.
